43 people attended the RUAP meetings held in Bendigo recently

bendigo43 people attended the RUAP meetings held in Bendigo recently resulting in some very helpful networking.  Two invited guests signed up and became first time RUAP members.  This is very timely because, as a political party, we need to get ready to meet the necessary quota to register as a state political party this October even though the state elections are approximately two years away.

Julie Hoskin and Sandie Caddy (RUAP Candidate for Bendigo) chat after the meeting.

RUAP Bendigo has a guest speaker at each monthly meeting.  This month Irene Yerman spoke on Agenda 21 alongside our National Secretary Yvonne Gentle who gave a brief overview of our past, our vision for the future and outlined a number of RUAP policies. She also spoke on the benefit and influence a political party can have in the nation whether they have a seat in Government or not.                             Julie Hoskin, who took the Bendigo mosque campaign to the High Court, will be our well informed speaker for October.   Until recently, Julie has been constrained by the courts as to what she could or couldn’t release publicly in relation to the Bendigo mosque case.  Julie says as usual, the left media have concocted their own version of the events, so the facts haven’t been told.’

Julie says, “Those who have been involved know and understand only too well the machinations of the Bendigo Council, the Executives at the City of Greater Bendigo and their allies who are acting in collusion with state government and a number of unprincipled officials, including those at VCAT. …………..it has become very obvious that the plans they have for Bendigo are so much bigger than the mosque development itself”.

If you are interested in listening to Julie or attending any Bendigo Rise up Australia Party events, please contact ruap.itistime@sandracaddy.com  for venue, date and time details.  The meeting will not be advertised publicly; it is by personal invitation only.
