Dear Friends,

Lord Monckton, one of the world’s leading climate change sceptics, addressed a gathering of around 200 people at a public meeting hosted by Rise Up Australia Party – ‘Keep Australia Australian’ in Victoria yesterday Monday the 25th of July at 7pm

Many travelled a long way to get to the meeting, as many people are desperate to know the truth about Global Warming, and in particular how the carbon tax will affect Australians. Following is the link to a very good newspaper article from the Greater Dandenong Weekly about his visit.

Lord Monckton will show how a Carbon Tax / CO2 reduction is useless

Lord Monckton giving one of his many speeches.

Reviled by some and lauded by others the world’s best known climate sceptic Lord Monckton will deliver a 90 minute speech of scientific evidence and economic reasons, in layman terms, to show that a carbon tax or any CO2 reduction idea is useless, at a Rise up Australia (Keep Australia Australian)meeting on Monday 25 July at 7pm.

The world`s best known climate sceptic, a widely recognized commentator on climate sensitivity, will be addressing a packed crowd of Rise Up Australia Party Supporters and others in Melbourne at Catch the Fire Apostolic Centre, 23 Melverton Drive in Hallam.  (Melways 96:G2)
“Lord Monckton will show the futility of the carbon tax which Prime Minister Julia Gillard is determined to thrust on Australian families who will feel it hit their hip pockets in the not too distant future,” said Rev Dr Daniel Nalliah, Chairman – Rise Up Australia Party (Keep Australia Australian).

Lord Monckton has challenged Al Gore and every high profile climate alarmist to debates and few have accepted the challenge.

He has been the focus of a media maelstrom particularly after saying the Gillard government’s chief climate change adviser, Ross Garnaut, was someone who expected people to “accept authority without question”.

The 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley or “Lord Monckton” is a British public speaker, former newspaper editor and hereditary peer.  He served in the Conservative Central office and worked for Margaret Thatcher’s Number 10 Policy Unit during the 1980’s.

He also worked for several newspapers including The Universe, The Sunday Telegraph, Today and the Evening Standard Newspapers.

His climate change lecture to Cambridge University undergraduates was later turned into a full-length feature film (funded by Synthetic Plant Products for Industry Network ( SPPI) titled ‘Apocalypse? NO!’

Recently, Monckton has devoted his work toward challenging the so-called “consensus” of scientists on climate change. Along with giving lectures and writing scholarly analysis, Monckton has testified before a subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives.

His witty and satirical comments are generally loved by those who have become convinced the climate debate has been unscientific and politicised.

“Lord Monckton is an erudite man who can easily deconstruct scientific papers and deliver concise summaries in layman terms. He will expose some of the interests he believes are behind the carbon tax/climate change agenda,” said Rev Dr Daniel Nalliah said.

The night is open to the public and free to attend.

Lord Monckton will be available for media interviews at 6pm on 25th July.

Media Release

The announcement of a new political party will be made on the steps of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal building at noon on Wednesday June 22nd, by Dr Daniel Nalliah. This date marks the fourth anniversary of an historic victory for freedom of speech in Australia, after a complaint in 2002 by the Islamic Council of Victoria against Dr Nalliah, which resulted in a five year court battle. Dr Nalliah will also be observing a minutes silence during his address, in respect for the Australian diggers who have sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms in Australia.

Dr Nalliah said the Party was formed to protect Freedom of Speech, other Freedoms and the erosion of Christian values in Australia, as a balance for the left wing agenda and to stem the tide of divisive forces associated with multi-culturalism. He said the newly formed Party was committed to keeping the Australian way of life strong.

Dr Nalliah said “It is with great joy that we announce the formation of this new political party, a party for all people who embrace Australia as home. This Party is totally committed to protecting the Australian way of life and our Christian heritage upon which Australia was founded. While acknowledging some positive aspects of multiculturalism, Dr Nalliah said there had been an overwhelming amount of negativity and division stemming from multiculturalism, and cited Europe as an example of how it has led to violent ethnic enclaves. The leaders of both Germany and the UK have recently made statements denouncing multiculturalism as a failure.”

The recent outburst in Sydney against a NSW police officer by a Muslim woman wearing the burqa, and the subsequent decision by the court of appeal to clear her on the grounds that she could not be identified, is a striking example of the failure of multiculturalism in our nation of Australia. The violence demonstrated outside the courts against the media by Muslim supporters of this woman is a real mockery to the Australian way of life, justice and peace. Furthermore, it prevents the ability for our police force to enforce law and order.

“Immigrants who make Australia their home, while free to celebrate their own ethnic backgrounds, must respect Australian culture. Rise Up Australia Party is totally opposed to the introduction of Sharia law in Australia – it is incompatible with our democracy and particularly curtails the civil rights and freedoms of women” said Dr Nalliah.

“Ever since I have called Australia home, I have watched secular left-wing movements in Australia pushing their agendas through Parliament and taking Australia away from her Christian foundations. These undergirding foundations are what have made Australia such a great democracy in which to live, and one of the most stable and peaceful countries in the world.
The Rise Up Australia Party Board of Directors is comprised of medical doctors, business men and women, housewives and Christian ministers and people with many years of experience in the political arena. Dr Nalliah said they are ready for a twenty year fight to take back Australia and keep it Australian and are seeking to recruit in excess of 500 members to register as a party to contest the next Federal election.

“We cannot let the extreme left parties such as the Greens to control the balance of power in government. It is time to stand up for our nation, to be proud and patriotic, and to protect our Australian way of life before it is too late. It is time for Australia to rise up” said Dr Nalliah.
