“It is a party that says it is for Australia, doesn’t believe in political correctness and vows to protect the country for generations to come.
The Rise Up Australia Party will announce two Senate candidates for Queensland on Saturday night and is hoping to “make an impact” in the July 2 federal election.
The party was launched just before the 2013 election, but national president Rev Dr Daniel Nalliah said it has come a long way in three years.
“This election the party will be running upper house and lower house candidates in most states across the country,” he said.
“Last election most people didn’t know about us, but this year everyone we have called has heard of the party and are considering voting for us.
“We are looking forward to a very interesting, exciting and challenging election ahead of us with the hope of securing one or possibly three senate seats in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.”
