Rise up Australia ACT DIVISION held a midday dinner at Monash Impact Center in Canberra last Saturday the 10th of Sept. The Dinner/meeting was held to keep concerned citizens and supporters in touch with each other and to update them on RUAP’s progress. Those who attended the meeting were from a cross section of the community, including representatives from Reclaim Australia, Church groups, RUAP, a local Independant candidate and interested persons.
The Dinner was organised by Sandie O’Connor – the RUAP Lead Senate candidate for the ACT in the July Election. Guest speakers were: ACT President; Irwin Ross, QLD President; Cristian Walker and National Secretary; Yvonne Gentle.
Yvonne, representing the National Office, addressed the meeting, updating guests on Election results and Party progress. She also spoke on the importance of and the powerful inroads of influence a political party, whether in Government or not, can have in the community and with the Government of the day..
RUAP members meet for an informal tea and discussions Saturday evening after the meeting.
