Protesters Clash with Police at Geert Wilders Speech

I find myself having to laugh at the irony of the situation. A motley crowd of protesters turned up to stop Geert Wilders from talking to a crowd of 500 people last night.  Their concern was that he was going to incite violence against the Muslim people.  The protesters did not want the people to hear what is going on in the Holland, because as far as they are concerned the truth is not allowed to be told. They called him a racist and tried to stop his right to Freedom of Speech. What seems to escape their minds is the fact that they are the racists, and the people inciting violence.

Freedom of Speech allows people to make up their own minds about what the truth is. Truth can stand on its own. Learn the truth and the truth will set you free. If you want to be bigoted, hide the truth, stop others from hearing the truth.  Keep people in the dark like mushrooms. This is what these protesters want to do.

The people inciting the violence were the minority. They are worse than the person they are protesting against. Whether you agree with Geert Wilders, or not, is unimportant. What is important in our Western culture, is the fact that we can say what we want to say, and we can even disagree with each other.  This is not the same in the Muslim culture. Speak against the Prophet and you will be threatened with beheading. Speak against Islam and the racist protesters are out trying to stop you from speaking.

These protesters are out of touch with the majority in this country. They think that their bullying tactics will frighten the majority, but I have this to say to them.  It is too late! The majority are standing up, and they will stand up to you where it really counts…… at the ballot box.

The sad part of all of this, is that the protesters do not care what you think. All that matters to them is their opinion and they are prepared to ram it down our throats. For our own good I suggest that we listen to Geert Wilders and take him seriously. British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain was told to take Hitler seriously and he continued to say that nothing was wrong. There will be “peace in our time”. Let’s not have history repeat itself. Let us listen to the warning signs.

    Dear Sir,

It is a sad day for freedom of speech when the Dutch politician Wilders is told by the owner of a Perth conference room that he is not allowed to speak there.

If law and order had been higher on the State Government’s books, the empty-headed protesters could have been prevented, by a strong police presence, from frightening or harming hotel guests, or people wishing to hear him.

So far in Perth we haven’t had people being murdered for their opinions, or hotels blown up, but if we are not allowed to hear how to keep such terror out, that day will surely come.

    Yours truly,

    John

ABC website hacked as “punishment” for Geert Wilders interview.

Criminals have gained unauthorised access (hacked) to an ABC website and exposed personal information of some 50,000 Australians as “punishment” for the ABC Lateline program interviewing the Hon Geert Wilders MP earlier this month.

    See the report here: http://www.abc.net.au/lateline/content/2013/s3700006.htm

The data from the ABC servers exposed on an anonymous website is unrelated to the interview with Mr Wilders. We have viewed some of the information and understand the leaked information is personal data from Australians who responded to an ABC online survey themed “Making Australia Happy”.

How this is “punishment” directed at the ABC remains a secret of the twisted minds of these criminals. That the ABC itself calls these criminals “activists” in their media statement today is an indication how twisted moralities are at the national broadcaster.

This act of criminal vandalism targets 50,000 Australians who have absolutely nothing to do with Mr Wilders’ visit to Australia.

We call on the AFP and federal AG Mark Dreyfus QC to move swiftly and bring those responsible to justice. The same applies to the thugs who beat up and injured patrons at the Geert Wilders event in Melbourne on 19 February, as well as threats issued towards the owners of the venues at which Mr Wilders spoke.

It is bad enough Mr Wilders has to be under 24/7 armed security; but when fascist intimidation methods are allowed against anyone who provides commercial services to Mr Wilders, or merely reports on Mr Wilders visit, we have crossed the Rubicon from a civil democratic society into anarchy and rule of the mob.

The ongoing leniency afforded to anarchists and criminals belonging to militant socialist groups is damaging the fundamental contract of civil society in Australia. The democratic state must act now, and it must act decisively.

Geert makes a lot of sense. It seems like Australia is heading towards the disaster that is the UK, where whole cities have become Muslim enclaves.

Adam, you’re wrong. Peaceful protest is a right under Freedom of Speech. However, when you deny access to people who have paid to enter a venue it becomes an illegal action. When you abuse and throw elderly people to the ground it is a criminal action.

I believe this email has been around before, but fit needs to go around again. Thank you for standing up against the islamisation of this country. I hope the average Aussie male will stand up for our way of life – politicians don’t seem to have that strength of character.
I am sending you my application to join Rise Up Australia. Susan

Its a long road ahead to deal with a problem that could have been nipped in the bud a couple of decades ago, renovating our culture will be difficult as well as I hope we as a people don’t have to suffer like those who suffered keeping the Japanese out of our country

I wonder. If Geert Wilders had come to speak at the Athenian agora 2000 years ago, would 500 people have come to angrily protest against him? Or would the Athenians simply have listened to him as they listened to all differing ideas, and made up their own minds based on what was said?

Yes Donald, probably the latter. Protestors ‘brainwashed’ youth of mainstream liberal media , OR as Nicholas Ray might have said it; ” Rebels w/out a cause”?

Great post – hits the nail on the head.
Astounding is the number of Aussies not prepared to face the facts of this serious matter.
