Council approves Doveton mosque

Talking to Media after Casey Council approves Doveton mosque next to CTFMYesterday on Tuesday 12th March at the City of Casey Council Planning Committee Meeting, the Council approved the proposed mosque in Doveton next to CTFM future premises.Media interviews after Casey Council approved Doveton mosque application

8 Councillors voted in favour, 1 was absent, Rosalie Crestani was the only Councillor who voted against the mosque.

It is so sad that political correctness has so infiltrated all offices of the federal, state and local government, that they no longer can see what is right from wrong.

Community concerns were literally completely overlooked and ignored, even though at least one resident who opposed the mosque had a death threat and some others were intimidated. Already some of the residents have put their houses up for sale. This is a very sad day in Australia, where so many government officials no longer stand for the truth. In the CTFM vs Islamic Council of Victoria Court Case around 6-7 years ago, the VCAT Judge stated that truth was irrelevant.

I want to personally thank everyone who prayed and supported us. Unfortunately, even though there were more than 2000 people complaining against the mosque, it was still approved.

When we initially lost the Court Case for Freedom of Speech at VCAT, many were very sad, but although we lost a battle at VCAT, we won the war.  We won the Supreme Court Appeal in the Court Case for Freedom of Speech.

So, we are ready for a fight. Please pray as we prepare to take this Council decision to the next level (VCAT /Supreme or High Court) in order to stop the mosque from being built next to CTFM future home in Doveton.

I know some of you might tell me to love the Muslims and let them build the mosque next to us.  Europe did the same 20 years ago and now they regret it.

I have lived, worked and witnessed to many Muslims in Saudi Arabia. You must love the Muslims with all your heart, but you also need to stand strong against the spirit of Islam. We cannot and must not support in any way or form most of the teachings in the Quran.

After the Council’s decision, all the media were interviewing me. About 15 Muslims were standing on my left, some of the residents to my right and many from CTFM. After I finished the interviews, I felt led to turn towards the Muslims, then shook their hands and told them that I love them very much, but I do not approve of the teachings of the Quran.  They were very surprised, but they responded very well and wanted to meet with me for a discussion, for which I gladly agreed.

Muslims respect those who have guts. They treat in general our kindness as a great weakness. We must stand united and stand strong.

I don’t live in Doveton but in a neighboring suburb and I don’t want the mosque to be built where it is proposed.

    Dear Pr Daniel,

In 1999 I went to Egypt, when there The tour guide occasionally pointed out churches that had a Mosque built on top of them. One stood out it was up high, no one could get to it; yet they had gone and put a Mosque on top of it. This disturbed me a little; it was almost as if they were using the buildings to make a statement of squashing out Christianity. Back then though I did not understand this feeling as I thought that their god was the same as ours (common misconception). I know better now!
There was a church I was going to, I was/am being outcast because I was saying everything that you are because of my love for everyone here (including the refugees). If we can not protect ourselves in the future then how will we protect them (honest people that come here for protection and a safer life). I have been labeled a racist because I am white and I care enough to speak up.
It is all a matter of perception, there is a picture at this church of two hands sorting the fish (Matt 6 I think). Everyone in that church thought it was a painting, it was not until the spirit moved me to point out to them that it was a very excellent drawing not a painting. We are being deceived in this country (world wide in fact).
Even though you were born of the night and I was born in the day we are both the same to Jesus. Yet the our own country sees us as racist. Political correctness is wrong as it hides the truth in many ways, I feel it is a great tool for the enemy because without correction we fall off the straight and narrow path to Jesus, we become corrupt.
My prayers are with you and for you brother.
    God Bless
