In Australia we’ve invited all sorts to our island home. We have let in Holocaust deniers, blokes who claim the moon landings were fake, EVEN people who proposed that human beings evolved from a rock, or nothingness.
But we should. That’s the price of Free Speech. At RUA, what we find intolerable is the clearly imbalanced treatment of such cases. Take the next couple of months of internationally acclaimed visitors. Without any real opposition, Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, a woman-hating, anti-Semitic all-round-nice-guy and mocker of Western culture is allowed entry.
No worries, mate. But a defender of Homeland values and traditional national rights, Dutchman Geert has been left in the ‘Wildersness’ since August. Immigration Minister Bowen labeling him ”an extremist commentator”, and further: ”To read his (Wilders) writings is to be struck by their ignorance and their wrongheaded views of other people’s beliefs.”
Ahem, tell that to the women and infants shopping and trying to relax in Pitt. St. mall (maul?) on last September 15th. An incident about which Min. Bowen remarked: These violent protesters do not represent Islam or Multi-culturalism.”
Perhaps Minister Bowen should be reminded that Muslims are called to worship ‘Al Mukkar’, the ‘Great Deceiver’. As ex-PLO militant Walid Shoebat, trained to kill Jews, states: ”The Koran in Arabic is very different to the Koran in English; and what a Muslim fundamentalist declares in Arabic is very different from what he tells you in English.’’ It is also clear that where we , in the West, see anger as a sign of weakness, the Islamic world sees as necessary for any negotiations! On all empirical evidence, throughout the ages, forgiveness and tolerance is viewed as a big sign of weakness. This issue has nothing to do with race as there is only one human, Adamic race. The submissional attitude of immigrants, since the end of World War 2 in particular, exhibited by the vast majority of peoples has been very good . For the most part, immigrants have arrived on our shores craving a fresh, new start in a free land. It is hardly unfair to suggest that many Muslims who come here are rather subservient to Allah and the Koran, and neither the Australian Constitution and Aussie lifestyle.
RUA believes that, either secretly or overtly, all Australians seek strong leadership. Perhaps this has to do with our ‘fatherless’ convict/ digger ancestral roots. Perhaps we should applaud this Dutchman with the ”Amadeus (Mozart)” hairstyle; who is, by necessity, a modern political explorer. In a way blokes like G. Wilders, finally touring in February, may be as important to Australian history as Tasman and Hartog.
In an international political landscape of mediocre leadership, is Wilders moreover ‘the greatest living Dutchman’, with the mantle of a Winston Churchill?
