Daniel Nalliah, the President of Rise Up Australia Party and the # 1 Senate Candidate for Victoria will be speaking at a Campaign Meeting at 7pm Saturday 27 July; at Long Gully Community Centre, 27 Havilah Road in Bendigo.
Mr Nalliah will be speaking on current world events, leadership and the upcoming federal election.
Mr Nalliah stated from his office in Melbourne this morning; “the ACCC [Aust.Competition and Consumer Commission] to my understanding has ignored the best interests of our nation. Together with GrainCorp Board, it has approved the sale of Graincorp Limited, Australia’s largest publicly listed agricultural company, to American giant ADM.
What remains is a possible takeover of the unique portfolio of grain storage and logistic assets, including the largest infrastructure network of grain storage sites and 7 Export grain terminals up and down the Eastern seaboard, presently owned by Aussie grain producers. In other words, a foreign entity could have virtual control of Australia’s grain industry!
Do not forget, dear voter, that Australia remains in the top handful of exporters of both malt barley and wheat – despite our comparatively small size.
Rise Up Australia Party believes that GrainCorp, having eventually recovered from the devastating 12 -15 year drought, has a progressive outlook and can still give growers and food processors a bright and profitable future!
Please consider the implications of this sale. Australia is fast becoming a subsidiary of every other national and multinational entity; some or most of whom care little for either farming, farmers or Australia!
Our children and grandchildren will have to pay the price of a lost sovereignty and control of the affairs of the nation. Extrapolating back successive generations, our land’s fathers and grandfathers fought and often paid the supreme sacrifice to gain these riches and freedoms”.
As the song says…” You don’t know what you got until it’s gone.”
Rise Up Australia Party will aim to legalise and support a minimum of 51% Australian owned land and infrastructure. We will push to stop, or curtail the sell-out, of our farming land, business, media and utilities, among other infrastructures and corporations to overseas buyers with overseas interests.
He will also be speaking at Oasis Christian Church at 10am & 7pm Sunday the 28th in Bendigo.
Mr Nalliah has recently been speaking to enthusiastic crowds at meetings in cities in VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, TAS, NT, and the ACT; including the very successful RUAP launch at the National Press Club in Canberra and the Victorian State Campaign Kick-Off with Lord Monckton to “Keep Australia Australian”.
