Daniel Nalliah, the President of Rise Up Australia Party and the # 1 Senate Candidate for Victoria will be speaking at a Rise Up Australia Party Campaign (ACT) Launch at 7pm on Wednesday 10th July at the Griffin Centre (Room 6).
Mr Nalliah stated, “It is a very sad day when politicians put their personal ambitions ahead of governing the country. We are sick and tired of watching the “Julia Gillard vs Kevin Rudd” soap-opera being played out from the day Mr Rudd was backstabbed in June 2010. I think we all can remember the 2007 election when it was “John Howard vs Peter Costello”. At least there was not much bloodletting in their saga.
Australia needs to take a break from the so-called major party syndrome. It seems that politicians are hell-bent on making sure that they secure their own jobs rather than running the country. The people of Australia have had enough of this circus. Perhaps it can rather be dubbed the Australian version of “Days of our Lives’.
Australia desperately needs leaders who have the intestinal fortitude to say it and call it for what it is. We have got to stop pussyfooting around the issues and confront them head on. Rise Up Australia Party will put a stop to political correctness.
We will also endeavour to continue to champion the cause for Free Speech”.
Saturday 22nd June, 2013 marked six years since the victory of the court case for Freedom of Speech. This was certainly a landmark victory, after a five year battle first in the Lower Court (VCAT) and then the Supreme Court.
Mr Nalliah has recently been speaking to enthusiastic crowds at meetings in cities in VIC, NSW, QLD, WA, TAS, NT, and the ACT; including the very successful RUAP launch at the National Press Club in Canberra and the Victorian State Campaign Kick-Off with Lord Monckton to “Keep Australia Australian”.
