After reading Andrew Bolt’s Blog on Friday 5th December 2014 and seeing that Rise Up Australia Party received a mention, I feel I have to comment. It was plain to see that Andrew Bolt understood the hypocrisy of the Greens message to the public, who no doubt are trying to cash in on the misconceptions of what it means to have a Multicultural society. The Greens love to spread the word that Rise Up Australia Party is a racist Party…. but Why?
Andrew Bolt in his article quotes the Greens as saying, ……under the Heading of… The Greens love diversity in theory:
Australia’s strength lies in the cultural diversity of people from all corners of the globe, the Australian Greens said today…. Our country has been greatly enriched by successive generations of immigrants whose influence is reflected in every facet of society.
It is interesting that the Greens should say this, when this cultural diversity that they are applauding, is not even reflected in their own party.
In contrast with the Greens of course is Rise Up Australia who are labelled racist by the Greens, yet have candidates and members from 40 plus different ethnic backgrounds, including; indigenous Australians, people from diverse parts of Africa, Papua NG, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Samoa, The Philippines, South America, Sri Lanka, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, The UK. Romania, India, New Zealand, Hungary and the list goes on. How then can they say, we are ‘racist’.
It is said, a picture is worth a thousand words and Andrew has so aptly supplied a picture of Greens candidates and politicians. Not one of them is coloured, not much diversity either, consisting of 90% aging women and balding Caucasian men. On the other hand he has also supplied a very colourful picture of RUA Party candidates and Members. The irony of the Greens concerns is, that RUA is depicted as very ethnic and non Caucasian as the posted picture demonstrates, quite the contrary to what they are trying to convey.
So then, are the Greens colour blind? Or do they have another agenda? Or are they on the same ‘Band Wagon’ as Age writer, Ruby Hamad? Ruby says, ‘that Rise Up Australia party is far right, ultra nationalist, evangelical Christian, anti abortion and an anti immigration party that has an extraordinary amount of gender and diversity.’ This is a contradictory statement in itself; how can the party be anti immigration and have an extraordinary amount of racial diversity within its ranks? None the less, Ruby, who is Muslim, goes on to ask, “How can this be”? Then she answers her own question with her own conclusion. That being; that RUAP has carefully devised a clever trick to get non white people to spout racist rhetoric (in support of a non multicultural society – I presume).
Bolt observes that Hamad dams the Multi ethnic RUAP and not the Mono-ethnic white Greens for being, ‘too racist and too white, the colour of evil’…… Is she also colour blind????
No I fear not, it is her last comment that truly reveals to us what her ’biff’ is:
“Whiteness is essentially those cultural beliefs, practices, norms and values that are sanctioned by white western society.”
What she does not want to say is that white western society, along with Rise Up Australia is founded on Judeo Christian values; this is her real issue. So she continues to say: “Rise up Australia is an example of how you can share in the bounty of white privilege even if you are not white, as long as you are willing to play by the rules. And one of the rules is to talk about race in a way that legitimises the dominance of white culture”.
This is a completely unsupported argument. Why would RUAP go about rounding up non white members to give them rules by which they must abide by so they can have the benefits of white supremacy? This is a farfetched ridiculous statement. I think someone should let Ruby know that the Australian Govt has already set in place for all immigrants – asylum seekers, legal residents and citizens, whether they are black, pink, yellow, brown or white, equal opportunity and anti discrimination laws which carry heavy penalties for those who abuse them.
What Ruby Hamad and the Greens are really saying is that Rise Up Australia is promoting the principles of Western society which are based on Judeo Christian values and the Westminster system of law which is called British common law on which this nation was founded. And please tell, what is wrong with that? Judeo Christian values promote equality of race and gender, freedom of speech and religion and a law system that stipulates fairness and justice for all without bias to any religion, colour or gender.
So let’s move on now to why Ruby calls Rise Up Australia Party “Far Right” Well if far right means we are patriotic Australians loving our freedoms, proudly embracing a multi-ethnic society where all people can work together to build healthier, non violent communities under Australian law and no other, which is what RUAP stands for, then ‘Far Right’ has taken on a completely new meaning to the Fascist, Nazism that I always associated it with.
Could it be that Ruby Hamad is the one that is really ‘Far Right’ advocating the Supremacist views of Islam?
Under Islam there is no freedom of speech, religion or dress (for women) nor is there equality of gender or race subscribing to the belief that Islam is superior and should dominate totally, the whole world under one Government, Islamic Government. And according to their rules in the book they live by – The Koran – all non Muslims (Infidels) eventually will be given the ‘choice’ to either convert to Islam, pay a tax to live, or be executed. The distressing truth is the Greens have been too ‘green’ to even bother researching world trends and politics in Europe and the Middle East to be informed of this reality. Maybe this is because sadly, they are too yellow to admit they are really Red.
